We are happy to announce our Fall 2018 Food Book Fête, with Hank Shaw author of Pheasant, Quail, Cottontail!
His descriptor states that “Hank Shaw is a chef, hunter, angler, forager and wild foods expert constantly on the lookout for new things to gather, catch and eat.” We like to think of him more as a friend and comrade in the war for real food and a hell of a good time!
Hank will be joining us on Wednesday, September 26th from 6-9 pm at Elder Hall, located behind Ned Ludd. We will be celebrating his newest book and partying with local chefs and friends of Hank - Aaron Barnett of St. Jack, Carlo Lamagna of upcoming Magna and Doug Adams of upcoming Bullard. The evening will include food from Hank and the chefs, beverages for purchase and. of course a chance to hang out and learn, laugh and share stories with Hank. We look forward seeing you in September!
